Introduction:
I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Saginaw Valley State University. I received my Master of Counseling degree from Oakland University. In graduate school, I completed an internship with New Oakland Family Center’s where I facilitated group counseling sessions for individuals in the partial hospital program of all ages of whom required crisis stabilization. Since 2014, I have been working as an outpatient mental health therapist for individuals and families. In March 2020, I became a certified human animal intervention specialist.
Approach:
My main theoretical approaches include Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused therapy. I work with children, adolescents and adults aged 10 and older.
